Sax effects on Low Spark?

I have always wondered if Chris used effects on his parts for Low Spark of High Heeled Boys. There is a section that sounds like a duet between Winwood's organ and Wood's alto sax. Sometimes it is hard to distinguish between the two. I have never read anywhere about how Chris used effects for his sax parts on this song. Surely, someone must have some definitive information on this subject. I would love to hear from you!
